Simplifying electronic invoicing

 

Article 5 of the Taxation Simplification Laws 2011 (as of November 1st 2011 retroactive to July 1st 2011)(BGB1. I S. 2131), has reduced the legal requirements for electronic invoicing significantly.

It is now up to the supplier how he/she would like to send invoices.

 

The authenticity of the source, content and legibility of the invoice can be verified in an in-house audit.  The use of an electronic signature is now optional and no longer a legal requirement.

The new myfactory Version 4.2 is available!

 

The latest release has 1,300 enhancements and improvements in all modules.  The migration of all components from .NET Framework 3.5 to 4.0 is an important technical innovation.  This ensures that myfactory software continues to be state of the art and therefore future proof.

Trade Fair Web Shop

 

Since the beginning of 2011 ambicon GmbH has led the new web shop project for exhibitors at the Landesmesse Stuttgart. The web shop has been successfully in operation since mid September.

 

Exhibitors can now organise and order anyything from an exhibition stand and equipment to accompanying services, on the web shop.  Based on the leading technology ERP solution myfactory.BusinessWorld, a system has been developed in which the exchange of information between the ERP System, web shop and the information portal is direct and without interfaces. The myfactory web based technology facilitates the client’s direct access through the internet to all companies involved without prior client registration.

 

This solution results in fast and efficient implementation of all processes and therefore saves valuable time.  Incoming orders are directed automatically to the respective trade partner through the ERP System.   As a consequence of the automated order process, administration is reduced and the quality of planning greatly is improved.

Managing the Reverse Charge Procedure

 

The creativity of the lawmakers in the area of Sales Tax (VAT) is unlimited.  Since 01.07.2011 the Reverse Charge Procedure also applies to “mobile radio units and electronic devices” if the business transaction exceeds 5.000 Euro.  In our knowledge data base we offer a description as to how to deal with this new procedure.  Two PDF Files are available which describe which adjustments should be made in the myfactory Sales and Purchasing areas so that the subsequent sales tax summary reports are correct.

New BroA Version 1.0.2.0

 

Our developers have completed the development of the access control software Bro Access.  This software supports the appliances from the company HID Global. The change over to the new software and hardware at the facility is planned to take place soon.

Studies confirm:  SaaS is a growing market of the future

 

A study appointed by from the The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technlogy has indicated that SaaS (Software as a Service) has a promising future.  The study was conducted by Berlecon Research in association with Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC), the International Business School of Service Management (ISS) and the Centre for European economic Research (ZEW).
